Mass Save income eligibility uses 60% of Massachusetts state median income (SMI). As of (subject to annual update by Mass DOER):

1. Free Home Energy Assessment. BPI-certified analyst, blower-door test, infrared camera scan, IAQ check. Free LEDs and weatherstripping installed during the visit.
2. Income eligibility check. One tax document, Mass Save confirms within 3–5 business days. Determines whether you're at 75% or 100% coverage.
3. Recommendation report. Written report ranks insulation/sealing upgrades by ROI. Mass Save rebate calculated for each line item.
4. Install + program filing. We install, we file the rebate, you sign at completion. Income-eligible: zero out-of-pocket. Standard income: pay 25% balance only.
5. Post-install verification. Mass Save sends a verifier (third-party) within 2 weeks. Optional second blower-door test confirms air-leakage reduction. Rebate finalized.
