Pro Build Home Services & Construction ("we", "us", "our") respects your privacy. This policy describes what data we collect, why we collect it, how we use and share it, and the rights you have over it under Massachusetts and federal law.

Information We Collect

When you submit a quote request through our website forms or email us at hello@probuildhomeservices.com, we collect:

• Identifying information: name, phone number, email address, postal address (or ZIP code), service location.
• Project information: service requested (HVAC, roofing, plumbing, etc.), project description, system type, home characteristics, timeline, current heating/cooling, and qualifying details you provide.
• Technical information: IP address, browser type, referring URL, timestamp of submission, and form anti-spam metadata (page-load timestamp, honeypot field).

We do not collect Social Security numbers, financial account information, or biometric data through this website.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information you submit only to:

• Reply to your quote request and schedule on-site consultation.
• Calculate Mass Save and other Massachusetts rebate eligibility, and file rebate applications on your behalf when authorized.
• Pull required permits with Massachusetts municipalities under our license.
• Communicate about scheduled work, change orders, warranty registration, and post-installation follow-up.
• Maintain internal records as required by Massachusetts contractor law, IRS recordkeeping requirements, and our Mass Save HPC authorization.

Information We Do Not Sell

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not sell, rent, or share your name, contact details, or project information with marketing companies, lead-aggregator services, or competing contractors.

Information We Share

We share information only with:

• Mass Save and Massachusetts utilities when filing rebate applications, only with the data necessary for eligibility determination, only with your authorization on the rebate paperwork.
• Massachusetts municipalities when pulling permits required for the work you authorized.
• Subcontracted specialty trades on a need-to-know basis when their license or scope is required for your project (rare — most work is in-house).
• Manufacturer warranty registries (Mitsubishi, Fujitsu, Bosch, James Hardie, etc.) for equipment installed at your property, with your authorization.
• Government authorities as required by law (subpoena, court order, regulatory inquiry).

Cookies & Analytics

This website uses minimal first-party cookies for site functionality (form anti-spam timing, modal session state). We do not use third-party advertising trackers, retargeting pixels, or cross-site tracking on this domain. We may add analytics in the future; this policy will be updated with at least 30 days' notice if so.

Data Retention

Quote requests that do not become projects are retained for 24 months and then deleted. Active project records are retained for 7 years per Massachusetts contractor recordkeeping requirements and IRS rules. Mass Save rebate applications are retained per Mass Save program requirements (currently 7 years).

Your Rights Under Massachusetts Law

Massachusetts residents have the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you.
• Correct inaccurate or outdated information.
• Delete your information, subject to legal retention requirements (active project files cannot be deleted before retention period expires).
• Opt out of all non-essential communication.
• File a complaint with the Massachusetts Office of Consumer Affairs and Business Regulation if you believe we have mishandled your data.

Children

This website is intended for adult homeowners. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If we learn we have collected such information, we will delete it.

Security

Quote submissions are transmitted over HTTPS (TLS 1.3) and stored on a Massachusetts-located server with restricted access. We use industry-standard physical, technical, and administrative safeguards. No internet transmission is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security but make reasonable efforts.

Changes to This Policy

If we materially change this policy, we will post the updated version here and update the "Effective" date at the top. Continued use of the website after changes constitutes acceptance.
